Calling all students! Student researcher recruitment
We are looking for enthusiastic and confident students at Sheffield Hallam University to join us, to work flexibly on a number of research and student engagement projects.
What is the role?
You will be part of an extended team of student researchers, and you will be offered regular opportunities to be involved in project work. The roles are flexible, as the work might range from 2 hours per month up to several hours a week, so it can be fitted around your studies.
The nature of the work is to contribute to student experience research for Sheffield Hallam University by undertaking a range of activities working alongside staff and other students such as: participating in a monthly meeting to discuss university publications and initiatives; identifying and reviewing supporting literature; designing questionnaires and/or analysing survey data; informing the project team of level of participant engagement, and any emerging issues and challenges; contributing to data analysis and report writing.
We are looking for students who:
- have excellent interpersonal skills
- are able to communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels
- are comfortable using a range of digital platforms, software and apps
- have a flexible attitude to the role
- are be able to manage your time effectively
- have high standards of integrity and honesty
- are willing to undertake additional training where required for particular projects
