You are required to complete a Suitability Declaration to consider your suitability to train to teach. We expect you to be open and honest when completing the form, in accordance with behaviour expected by the Department for Education Teachers’ Standards. Failure to disclose information which becomes available later, will be considered under the Fitness to Practise procedures and could lead to removal from the course.
Please provide as much information as possible and this will help any consideration of disclosures. If you are unsure what you are required to disclose you can find further guidance from Unlock. All disclosures are considered on a case-by-case basis and disclosure does not automatically mean that you cannot enter the course.
