Industry and Innovation Research Institute (I2Ri) Winter Poster Event 2023
The most wonderful time of the year in the Industry and Innovation Research Institute (I2Ri) is always during the Winter Poster Event where our students get to showcase their latest research projects and win some prizes too.
This year’s was an in-person event held in the wonderful Atrium Heartspace on Wednesday 13th December between 12:30 – 16:30 hrs. In attendance were students from the Materials and Engineering Research Institute (MERI), Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre (BMRC), National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering (NCEFE), Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC), and Department of Computing who had a healthy competition showcasing the posters of their projects to judges who then had to select the best 3 posters.
The event kicked off with an opening speech by Prof. Andrew Alderson, the director of the Industry and Innovation Research Institute.
The panel of judges had academics from the different research centres and departments within I2Ri.
