Sheffield Hallam University Game’s students shining at the Game Republic competition
Our games students have again entered the annual regional games competition Game Republic Student Showcase, where they competed against 10 other Universities and a total of 80 projects submitted from these, and once again triumphed.
BSc(Hons) Computer Science for Games students from the Subject Group Games and Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Computing and BA(Hons) Games Design students from the Department of Media Arts and Communications took part and presented their work to judges from the games industry.
They were supported by Steel Minions in finalising their project for the competition and getting the hardware.
The showreel can be seen here and you will all appreciate how fierce the competition was this year!
