Lecture Capture

From Monday 21st September, Panopto will be integrated into Blackboard in addition to accessing in the original way. This will make it possible to create new recordings and upload existing audio and video files directly into Blackboard sites, as well as make it extremely easy to embed videos in the module and place them into context with other learning materials. A final feature that comes with the integration is that students will be able to submit their own videos and audio files for assessment using Panopto and it will ensure that changes can’t be made after submission.

This training session will cover how to create, upload and manage recordings through Blackboard, as well as looking at how students can use Panopto to submit their own videos for assessment.

Session materials

The slides for this session can also be downloaded, and a recording is available to view.

A general introduction to Panopto is also available, both as slides and a recording.
