For your Apprenticeship you should undertake the following tasks and look out for curriculum activities where you can benefit from your greater understanding and enhanced behaviours in support of an equality ethos, respect for diversity and your inclusive practice:

• Read the University student charter.
• Research and discuss your employer’s policies.
• Develop your awareness and research The Equality Act in your sector.
• Use your quarterly review to discuss behaviours in your Apprenticeship Standard focusing on instance when you have felt challenged. You may want to refer back to this page Equality, diversity and inclusion in your apprenticeship.
• Review the Work-based Learning Module, or independent focus on unconscious bias.
• Watch this video to help you reflect on the world around you.
