Knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) from the Apprenticeship Standard are spread across multiple modules of the course. Therefore, if the following guidelines are upheld then all knowledge skills and behaviours will be covered by some F2F delivery.

Minimum Face-to-Face Synchronous Delivery – Notes:
- Activities excluded from F2F.
- i.e. Self-Directed Learning types might be:
- Preparation for assessment, where conducted independently of SHU staff,
- Online E-tivities, set to be undertaken in an asynchronous way,
- Other independent tasks expected of an autonomous learner, not supported by co-present, or face to face intervention from the provider.
- Placement, rotation and more ad-hoc experiential work-located opportunities, not directly supported by the presence of a SHU employee (or representative of the provider).

- The above may count towards 20% OTJT if conducted within contracted working hours, or time in lieu, but will not count as F2F-synchronous engagement.
