Episode 2 – Gamification and Neuroinclusion with Lewis Eves<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lewis teaches politics and international relations in Nottingham and Sheffield and has developed a pedagogy of gamification in his modules. He has seen improvement in the student experience and believes this pedagogy is a great idea to improve neuroinclusion in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Episode 3 – Improving Higher Education Equality of Opportunity for Working Class Boys with Alex Blower and Liz Austen<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Prof Liz Austen and Dr Alex Blower as they discuss South Yorkshire’s first Boys Impact Conference, and explore topics about improving the equality of higher education opportunities for working class males<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Episode 4 – Responsible and Sustainable use of GenAI in Higher Education Teaching and Learning<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Joel as he talks to Sue Beckingham about her research into the ethical and responsible uses of GenAI in higher education learning and teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Episode 5 -Hope Circuits and SoTL with Jessica Riddell<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joining Joel is Jessica Riddell from Bishop’s University in Canada to talk about the powerful Hope Circuits idea.The Hope Circuits project had more than 300 interviews with educators, academic leaders, and system navigators,looking at how to reinvent hope in higher education. We look at how SoTL can be a positive catalyst for teachers to flourish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Episode 6 – Authentic Assessment with La<\/a>u<\/a>ra Dean<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Joel and Laura as they talk about the ‘why’, ‘so what’ and ‘how’ of approaching an authentic assessment approach in your modules, courses and assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope these conversations help to enable you to reflect on your own LTA practice, and spot opportunities to innovate and implement something new to plus your practice, tackle issues, and take advantage of opportunities through our SoTL @ SHU Network.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
