RESEARCH

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, students have struggled with the transition to online learning. As the pandemic subsides, students are expected to return to physical classes for their higher education degrees. However, many students, especially new ones, face difficulties in adjusting to face-to-face teaching, resulting in attendance and academic issues.

To address these challenges, this project aims to investigate post-pandemic learning barriers and propose a behavior change model. The study will inform the development of a conversational AI chatbot that engages with students, identifies barriers, and offers targeted interventions and referrals to support services.

This project aims to provide valuable insights to educators and decision-makers to develop personalized assistance and support for students, enhancing their academic success and well-being.
