SUMMARY

Muhammad Wasim is a PhD student, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and casual Research Associate at Sheffield Hallam University. With 4.5 years of teaching experience and 1 year of material engineering lab expertise, he is dedicated to advancing his field through both education and hands-on research.

RESEARCH

The candidate is dedicated to advancing sustainable and environmentally friendly lead-free ceramics, focusing on KNN (Potassium Sodium Niobate) ceramic materials. These materials offer a promising alternative to traditional lead-based ceramics, addressing critical challenges in energy applications, particularly in sensors and actuators. By eliminating the use of toxic lead, KNN ceramics align with global environmental and health regulations.

The candidate’s research specifically is aimed at establishing structure-property relationships in Pb-free ferroelectric ceramics, aiming to optimize their performance. This study is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and durability of sensors and actuators, contributing to the development of green technology solutions.

The candidate seeks to pave the way for innovative, eco-friendly ceramic technologies in the energy sector.
