The Sheffield Universities’ Managing Directors’ Club (MD Club) is a collaboration between Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, that provides a forum for business leaders and expert academics to exchange knowledge and ideas for future partnerships, with the aim of strengthening links between business and industry in the Sheffield City Region.
The MD Club has been running for over 6 years and has continued to support its members throughout the pandemic.
Previous events have covered a variety of topics such as: Exploring what’s Possible through Collaboration, Wellbeing in the Workplace, Achieving Energy Efficiency through Innovation, and How Sheffield Universities’ continue to support and collaborate with businesses during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
MD Club members benefit from the opportunity to hear from inspiring and informative speakers on key topics and regional opportunities, whilst networking sessions provide business and academia the opportunity to forge new collaborations.
