The following guide shows you how you can create a large team class meeting room in Microsoft Teams, this meeting room will use the same link for students to access every time.

Instructions:

Step 1.
Open Teams by your preferred method, e.g. Teams Desktop App or Teams Web Browser.

Step 2.
Navigate to your Calendar in Teams and click the drop-down tab by ‘create new meeting’ in the top right.

It’s recommended you use the ‘Class’ template to set up your meeting.

Step 3.
Now you can give the meeting a title, it is recommended to make the title match the name of the class or something easy for students to recognise. You can also select the time you wish the meeting to begin and end, and whether you want the class meeting to be re-occurring. Make sure the meeting is set to be an online meeting. Note: You do not have to select any required attendees as you will be able to share the link separately with students by your preferred contact method.
