Neurological Rehabilitation R&D for Business Technological and Digital Innovations

Last week we shared the great news that our research with JT Rehab Ltd features in UK Research and Innovation’s new Shaped in Sheffield Campaign.

Well, on top of that, we’re really excited to share that the development of the S Press device has now been profiled on UKRI’s Future Makers video series!

The video, featuring Nick Hamilton of the School of Sport and Physical Activity, is live on YouTube now.

The S Press was designed by JT Rehab and developed with Sheffield Hallam University researchers as part of the first Advanced Wellbeing Accelerator programme at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC). It helps patients build up leg muscles from their bed, helping to reduce muscle deconditioning, accelerating physical recovery and shortening hospital stays.
