Sports Engineering is a rapidly evolving discipline operating within a growing global sports technology sector, but its impact is wider than you might expect, and certainly not limited to sports stars and elite athletes.

Dr Simon Goodwill is the Head of Research for the School of Sport and Physical Activity at Sheffield Hallam University, and also heads up the world leading Sports Engineering Research Group based here at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre.
