The National Cancer Plan is a pivotal opportunity to revolutionise cancer care

AWRC research theme lead Dr Liam Humphreys has written for the Yorkshire Post about the recently published National Cancer Plan for England.

He writes that while the plan provides a pivotal opportunity to revolutionise cancer care across the country, care must be taken to ensure that no one is left behind through the widening of health inequalities.

Inclusive, community-led, and personalised care is essential if we are to not only ensure people live longer, but live better, with and beyond cancer.
