Hallam award
The Hallam Award is a personal development programme that helps you make the most of your time here at Hallam. Check how you could gain recognition for your contribution and participation in community activities, by visiting the Hallam Award page on the Sheffield Hallam Careers and Employability site. The attributes you develop through this activity are likely to relate well to the behavioural development required in your Apprenticeship Standard.
Celebrating apprenticeships and achievement
You can also focus on the work-related impact and contribution you are driving towards as part of your apprenticeship. There are some great categories in the Sheffield Hallam Inspirational Student Award.
Outside the University there are various Apprentice of the Year awards you can apply for, including Sheffield City Region, Yorkshire and Humber and The National Apprentice of the year awards.
Talk to your Work-based Learning Coach about how you can get support. Remember to check your employer is willing to support your nomination and application.
Taking part in a case study with the University can help with the application process. This can also support the University when communicating the benefits of degree apprenticeships to potential applicants and employers. We love to celebrate the impact and difference our apprentices make in their jobs, through projects and for the clients, customers and sector developments they get involved with.

Joining the University’s Apprenticeship Ambassador scheme is a great opportunity to make the most of your university experience. You will
