A key function of MAYTAS is to join up the support between the Apprenticeship Coach at Hallam with the workplace a mentor in support of the Apprentice.
MAYTAS is a software system that supports this tri-partite relationship. Key functions include:
- Releasing and then hosting the initial Skill Scan undertaken by the Apprentice and signed off by the mentor.
- Recording the outcome of the “Suitability Discussion” for onboarding, which will be set up by our Coach to involve you.
- Hosting the initial Training Plan for you to access and review
- Releasing and storing future “Skill Scan Refresh” activities, which will help you and the Coach to review the progress from the start of the Apprenticeship
- Initiating, conducting and recording Apprenticeship Progress Reviews every 12 weeks
- Logging Off The Job Training, to ensure this complies with the targets agreed in the Training Plan under the Governments Funding Rules
- Recording and storing the Gateway Review – this is where the mentor signs off that the Apprentice is working at the level of occupational competence defined by the specific Apprenticeship Standard
