Academic attendance and assessment preparation
The lecture might have been worth 1 hour of OTJT. The discussion about the group project can be classed as part of OTJT as it can help develop KSBs and can be classed as preparing for an assignment. The time spent on Thursday afternoon was also recordable, but the time spent in the evening was outside contracted working hours so would not count unless the employer gave some time in lieu (for example late start later in the week). Note: it is fine to include time spent learning in the library and online as long as it is within contracted working hours and helps develop KSBs.
